Open plan kitchen, living and dining areas all enjoy great views with ranch slider and french doors opening onto the lower deck. This deck has seating and an outdoor table for eating alfresco breakfast in the morning sun. The deck then steps onto a private sheltered patio area, which has a three burner gas barbecue and an 8-seater picnic table.
The kitchen has excellent pantry space, electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, food processor and breadmaker.
Also on the lower level are a separate toilet, laundry with automatic washing machine (a dryer is wall-mounted outside in the boat house), a bathroom with vanity and shower (no bath)and a large double bedroom, which also contains a single bed and a baby's cot.
Upstairs, there are a mezzanine gallery area with 26 inch LCD television with VCR/DVD and french doors opening onto the deck, and three bedrooms – two doubles and a twin. One of the doubles also has an additional trundle bed. The master bedroom (double) is flooded by the morning sun and has french doors opening out onto the upper deck with stunning panoramic views.
Outside in the boat house, there are purpose-built facilities - toilet, vanity, shower and hot water system. In addition, there is an extra fridge and a spin dryer.
Apart from short holiday rentals, this would be a wonderful location for writers or artists who are seeking inspirational solitude and peace.
