Miharo Lodge Rangataua holiday home is a tidy, single-storey 3-bedroom home situated in the quiet village of Rangataua, on the outskirts of the Ohakune township.

This Rangataua holiday home sleeps 7 people comfortably, with a maximum occupancy of 8. There are double beds in two of the three rooms with the third bedroom having a bunk with a double underneath and single on top. There is room for a fold-out bed (provided) in one of the larger double rooms, should an extra 8th bed be required, and a portacot is also available. All beds are fitted with electric blankets to keep you warm and toasty. Warm duvets, extra blankets and hot water bottles are also provided for your comfort and convenience.

Miharo Lodge boasts a spacious lounge with fire-place and Freeview TV, perfect for relaxing in comfort with your friends and family. Firewood is supplied and the large fire keeps the entire house warm and cozy, with heaters provided in the bedrooms if an extra burst of warmth is needed. A second Freeview TV is provided in one of the bedrooms for those "duvet days". The modern kitchen contains all the essential utensils, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, etc. A high-chair is also provided. The house has a separate bathroom and toilet. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer, plus there are plenty of drying racks supplied so your gear will be warm and dry for the next day's skiing or boarding.

From the front deck, lounge and dining area, you have an amazing view of Mt Ruapehu and Turoa ski field. Just pull the curtains to check the snow report, or kick back after a day on the slopes and enjoy the view!

Miharo Lodge is only 3-4 minutes drive from the entrance to the Junction, Tongariro National Park and the beginning of the Mountain Road, leading up to Turoa skifield. Ohakune township is another 2-3 minutes drive away. Whakapapa skifield, on the northern side of Mt Ruapehu, is approximately 35 minutes drive by car.
