Enjoy the stunning environment and playground that is Lake Rotorua – staying in our apartment located 400 metres from the Lake edge, City Centre and the Polynesian pools and just 200 metres from the Government Gardens (and 9 hole golf course). Hard to believe it could be so central - but true!

After a brief bike ride on tar seal, Mountain Bikers can ride on volcanic and raised trails around the edge of Sulphur Bay, and in a matter of minutes, be up into the Redwoods and Whakarewarewa Forest mountain bike trails.

If you want to travel further it is 15 minutes drive to Blue (Tikitapu) and Green Lakes, and 20 minutes to Lake Tarawera. Lakes Rotoiti and Okataina are less than 30 minutes away down the Whakatane highway. All of these lakes afford excellent Trout fishing on a general licence. Whakatane (and nearby renowned Ohope Beach) is approximately 70 minutes away. Tauranga and The Mount are a mere 45 minutes drive.

This first floor apartment is north facing for all day sun with an outside balcony running its length. It has two bedrooms – the spacious master bedroom has a queen size bed, the other has two single beds. There is a large comfortable lounge, separate dining area and a tidy kitchen with fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, waste disposal and a good range of crockery and cutlery.
The bathroom/ laundry is well-appointed with a shower and normal amenities.

The water is geothermally heated as is the whole apartment, making it warm and cosy all year round. There is a carport, providing off-street parking with security lights. The entrance to the car park is directly opposite the Police Station with round the clock camera surveillance on the street.

There are two TVs (one in the lounge with a Video/DVD player and one in the master bedroom). There is also a sound system with a tape deck, radio and MP3 port.

Tenants are to provide their own linen and towels.

This apartment is a great base from which to enjoy Rotorua and its environs, or, a great destination in itself – where you can just relax, and if the mood takes you – wander in the nearby gardens or to one of the many excellent cafes located in close proximity.
