Whale Bay Surfers Shack, $75 - $125

Recently renovated, this is still the most affordable little bach in Whale Bay and it has all you need for a comfortable stay. As one happy guest put it, "a great, no-nonsense, surfers bach in a great location".

The bach is clean and comfy, and perfect for surfers who want to wake up and take a one minute walk down to the waves at Whale Bay or Indicators. It's ideal too for small groups or families who want to be close to the beach. Explore the rock pools, swim or take a five minute walk up the hill to some wonderful walking tracks that lead you around Mt Karioi.

This bach sits just behind the main house and you get a small view of the sea from the living space and caravan bedroom. You'll find everything you need for a relaxing stay; a kitchenette with small oven/grill, refrigerator, toaster and kettle, as well as a TV and a heap of books and magazines.

During the day, you can breathe in the ocean air. At night, you'll fall asleep to the waves crashing onto shore. It's just heaven to be so close to the sea.

We provide free WI-FI access for browsing the internet and checking email if you have a laptop with WI-FI (no excessive skype use or downloading).

Whale Bay is located 8kms outside of Raglan. It's one of Raglan's world famous surf breaks and a popular spot for surfers and tourists alike. Raglan is a buzzing little holiday town with fantastic cafes, shops and nightlife.
