Whananaki North is situated approx 40 kms north east of Whangarei (about 30 mins drive), along the Whananaki Eastuary.
A very laid back, quiet, typical kiwi beach community.
Look across the estuary to Whananaki South from the the deck.
The estuary is very safe for swimming and at low tide you can collect pipi's and cockles.
Great surf beaches within walking distance, and also further along the road (some unsealed).
Great location to go fishing and diving from (Poor Knights).
Go kayaking, horse riding, walking, surfing, swimming, diving, fishing or just relax on the deck.
