Two private cottages, perfect for 2, but can sleep up to 5 in each - Nestled amongst the beautiful native bush of the Belmont Hills, our two cottages provide private and peaceful accommodation 3km from the central city. Guests are delighted by the numerous native birds that frequent the gardens and kids can enjoy a nighttime bushwalk to see the glow-worms.

Fern Cottage is a stylish, modern, compact, open plan cottage. It sleeps 2-6 (Queen bed plus kids sleeping loft with three mattresses accessed by ships ladder and a queen sofabed).
Gate Cottage is a charming original one bedroom workmans cottage. It sleeps 2-6 (queen bed & dble sofabed in bedroom & dble sofabed in lounge).
Both have linen, bedding and towels, fully-equipped kitchens, dining areas, Sky TV and outside dining table with BBQ. Additional facilities include washing machine, outdoor clothesline, wireless internet and phone for local use.
Both are quiet & private with garden & bush views out every window.
Rent one cottage or both for extended families & friends. Each cottage is sited on a big quarter acre bush garden, connected by a garden path.
There is plenty of lawn for kids to run around, a tree swing and trampoline.
For the energetic, Belmont Regional Park is within walking distance, giving a wide selection of walking and mountainbiking trails with great views of the Wellington Region and South Island and challenges at all levels.

The cottages are rented on a "leave it clean and tidy/as found basis). We do the final linen wash. if you would like us to arrange final cleaning the cost is $50 per stay.

Small video/DVD library, clothesline in courtyard, basic pantry items provided (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, herbs etc), plus free range eggs from the resident chooks.
